when we were teething our German land lady would rub schnapps on our gums. I don't know it thats socially acceptable for Americans but we were content little babies (so I hear anyway..)

I guess banging his foot into the light is one way to distract him from his tooth. I think I like Sweet Rachel's way better!

Okay, I get it. Be more careful with the feet. :-) However, I would like to say that he very much enjoyed flying and didn't even notice he kicked the light!
