Bananas are a good starter fruit-and easy to get ready. It won't be too long before Grace and Josiah can eat the same things and it should be quicker and easier.Hopefully she won't want to wear her food like Ryan did. Took forever to get it in his mouth.

Nah, she doesnt really have to have anymore than what you are providing for her right now. I dont usually start my kiddos on solids until they are closer to a year, I may let them try things here and there, but they dont nutritionally need it as long as you are still nursing. But that is ultimately your choice. I completely agree with you on the prep part, and oh the clean up. I dislike cleaning up kids after they have eaten, especially when they get to that self feeding stage, plus I hate bibs, no point in them, just strip them down, then there is only skin to wash, not skin, bib and clothes! I have enough laundry to do.

I have been feeding Camille since the bottle has been an utter failure. She is eating the organic bananas that comes in the throw away container. I love Janice's comment. I had not thought of stripping Camille down to nothing. I was trying to figure out if these cute bids were disposable. They are way too nasty to wash them with anything else. Kelly might not appreciate it if she finds a weeks worth of bibs missing. We are going to feed in the buff. That is Camille in the buff, me fully clothed. I would hate to scare her.
